2005 - gold (my syf year! we almost got a gwh, so wasted)
2007 - gold
and it's time to update the acheivement board cuz...

2009: GOLD WITH HONOURS!!!

even though today is april's fool day, this is NOT a joke kay. a pity tkgssb was unable to stay for the results. you should have seen the scene before/after the release of the results. before the results, brina and i had to be the representatives for tkgssb to collect their scores. like so damn extra, the only two strangers who went up to the stage area. the announcement of the results was the best.

"band number 49, tanjong katong girls' school symphonic band. gold...... WITH HONOURS!"

these five remaining tkgssb representatives screamed. and after 5 seconds, we decided to stop and just continued clapping, since we didnt want to be the topic for the day. lol.

i'm really happy for them, especially the clarinet section! :D come to think of it, we, in one way or another, played a part in nurturing this gwh batch, HAHAHA! well it's a pity my batch couldnt get gwh (miss by 0.sth %), but i'm really happy this time tkgssb did it. the gwh award is finally coming back to us. great job tkgssb! you've done ms sia, mr ong, teachers and us seniors really proud! TKGSSB Y

this syf season is bringing back loads of my syf memories. i suddenly feel like going up on stage and play for syf again haha. talking about performance, i still cant believe yest we actually missed the north vista primary school band performance! when we reached the school, it was finale alr. apparently the teacher told us the wrong timing to report, hence no kids photos haha. so wasted. okay anyway back to syf topic, all the best for the remaining bands!

and i really hope my uni outcome will be as pleasant as this too(:
